Meet The Staff
Ashley is one of our lead sonographers for our Webster and Beaumont locations. She is a Louisiana native where she worked as a multi-modality sonographer for 15 years. Ashley attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles, La graduating in Radiologic Sciences. Upon moving to Texas, she made the transition to Maternal Fetal Medicine full time to focus her skills in obstetrics. Ashley’s day to day interaction with her patients is what Ashley loves about this career. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her husband and daughter.
Ana is one of our lead sonographers for our East Houston, North Houston and Pasadena locations. Ana is a bilingual registered diagnostic sonographer. Ana worked in the Houston Medical Center and Woodlands Medical Center hospitals before transitioning to Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound where her passion lies.
Ally is one of our MFM sonographers who joined Pregnancy Specialty Center of Texas with over 15 years of experience. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree she continued her studies in sonography. She has experience in both hospital and private clinic settings. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has two school aged children who keep her and her husband busy with sports, scouts, and activities. They have two snuggly dogs and three playful cats that join in with the chaos.

Brittany is a MFM sonographer for our North Houston clinic. She’s a New Orleans native, but has proudly called Houston home for over 20 years. She has over 12 years of experience in ultrasound. Brittany has spent the last 5 years working in Houston Medical Center where she discovered her true interest, and passion for women’s health and Maternal Fetal Medicine. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, dancing, and traveling.
Claire knew from the very first day she rotated to a MFM clinic while in ultrasound school that this field would be her passion. From that point forward, everything she did was just preparation to do what she does today. She loves being there as a comfort to her patients and strives to deliver the kind of care she would hope to receive were the roles reversed. After all, she has 3 boys of her own (as well as 3 cats). Her devoted husband has been a support to her through a journey that has consisted of graduating from Lone Star College with a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography in 2017, 3 years in private practice OB/GYN, and another 3 in MFM. She is just returning from a year as a travel sonographer at Rutgers Medical School’s University Hospital in Newark, NJ, where she enjoyed training fellows in their MFM program to scan fetal ultrasound. Currently, Claire is preparing for her Fetal Echocardiography board. In her spare time you may find her spending time with her family, cooking, singing, or organizing the house.
Emma started her ultrasound career working at Houston Methodist hospital for several years where she performed a large variety of ultrasounds. She took a break from work when her children were born. When she decided to return to ultrasound she took a position at a fertility clinic helping families grow. This is where she discovered her love for fetal ultrasound. She now enjoys working with PSCTX and focusing on obstetrics. In her free time she loves to catch up on shows, read books, and spend time with her children.
Heather has been a sonographer for 9 years with the last 2 years in Maternal Fetal Medicine. She is passionate about the work that she does and loves being a part of the care that we provide to our high risk patients. She is registered in OB/GYN, Nuchal translucency, and CLEAR. When she is not working, Heather loves spending time with her husband and children, reading and scrapbooking.
Jessica is one of our satellite sonographers that works at the East Houston and Pasadena locations. She is a Houston Native with 10 years of ultrasound experience, mainly in Ob/GYN and MFM.
Jennifer has been a Sonographer for over 35 years. She is a graduate of Baptist Hospital School of Radiologic Technology in Beaumont, TX. After first working in diagnostic radiology, she then began her career in the hospital setting performing varied diagnostic ultrasound exams. The last 20 years have been dedicated to the area of OB/GYN.

It is no surprise that Kurt’s interests in physics and biological sciences led him to a career in diagnostic medical ultrasound. After watching his wife struggle through a high-risk pregnancy, he enrolled in the Rochester Institute of Technology in NY in 2003. This was the beginning of a career that has taken him through varied aspects of the diagnostic medical sonography field. These experiences include; working as a general tech in NY, CO, NM and TX, managing a team of 20 in a large city hospital, teaching the next generation of ultrasound technologists as a Program Director and primary instructor who, concurrently, secured a coveted associate’s degree program accreditation, as well as owning his own mobile ultrasound business. Kurt holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ithaca College, he now exclusively practices in the high-risk ultrasound realm. Kurt loves working with patients and has won various awards in numerous hospitals for his exceptional patient care.
Liliana Casanas is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with 19 years of experience, holding an associate’s degree and specializing in OB/GYN and Fetal Echocardiography. She began her career in hospital settings, where she led the launch of a new ultrasound department and successfully earned ACR accreditation. After eight years, she transitioned to focus exclusively on obstetrics and gynecology, later advancing her specialization in Maternal-Fetal Medicine to support high-risk pregnancies-her true professional passion.
Laurie received her formal ultrasound training at UCSD medical center. Laurie comes to us with over 20 years of experience.
Lan has over 15 years of ultrasound experience where she completed a variety of ultrasound exams. She also worked downtown at the Women’s Center for more than 10 years before joining the Pregnancy Specialty Center of Texas. Here she has been able to succeed in her ultimate goal of scanning detailed fetal anatomies. She spends much of her leisure time with her husband, three children, and traveling.
Marissa is a passionate and skilled diagnostic medical sonographer who began her career at Memorial Hermann Hospital, where she developed a strong foundation in medical imaging. Originally from California, she moved to Texas and graduated from Pima Medical Institute in Houston. Her deep interest in women’s health and prenatal care led her to specialize in obstetrics, where she finds joy and purpose in supporting expectant mothers. Currently expecting a baby boy of her own, Marissa brings both clinical knowledge and personal empathy to her work. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and exploring new food experiences as an avid foodie.

Monica currently serves as Director of Operations for Pregnancy Specialty Center of Texas. She holds a Bachelor’s of science in Biology where she later gravitated towards the field of ultrasound, especially obstetrics and gynecology. She began as a sonographer for the practice and looked forward to getting to know the expecting mothers to be and their families during this precious moment of prenatal care. She is also an adjunct ultrasound professor at one of the local colleges to promote learning for future sonographers. She also visits obstetrics/gynecology clinics in the surrounding area as an advocate for the practice.
Nhu is a Vietnamese-American that has been raised in and has been living in Houston her entire life. She is the first in her immediate family to graduate college and proceeded to become a sonographer. She has been in the field for 8 years and absolutely loves her job because of the patient interaction. She is fully fluent in Vietnamese and is always willing to help translate when needed. Her favorite hobbies are traveling and trying new foods with her husband, concert hopping, especially Korean pop music, and hosting pop up events.
Stefani has been in ultrasound for 8 years before finding her passion in the world of MFM. She has worked in freestanding ER’s, hospital settings, as well as a Women’s Clinic before joining our clinic. Finding joy in helping women and building her skill sets. On her off time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.
